How It Started

Born from a Passion for Melanin-Rich Skin

PrettyIris began in 2014 as a small facial bar in Kumasi — a single treatment room driven by one conviction: that melanin-rich skin deserves the same level of expert, results-focused care available anywhere in the world.

What started as a passion project quickly became something much bigger. Clients arrived with concerns that had gone untreated for years — acne, hyperpigmentation, stretch marks — and left with skin that finally reflected how they wanted to feel. Word spread. The waiting list grew. And PrettyIris evolved.

Today we operate a fully equipped medical aesthetic clinic alongside the PrettyIris Academy — one of the only VTCT-accredited aesthetic training centres in the Ashanti Region. Our graduates practise across Ghana, the UK, Europe, and North America.

The Beginning

PrettyIris Facial Bar opens its doors in Kumasi — a small studio with a singular focus on healthy, glowing melanin-rich skin.

2017

Clinic Expansion

Growing demand drives a move to a fully equipped medical aesthetic clinic, adding injectables, chemical peels, and laser services.

2019

Academy Launches

PrettyIris Academy opens, offering the first VTCT-accredited aesthetic training programme in the Ashanti Region.

2021

500 Graduates

The Academy celebrates its 500th graduate — practitioners now working across Ghana, the UK, and North America.
